Record Results from 2018 Rio Tinto Tender

Argyle Muse and Argyle AlphaRio Tinto announced it delivered record results at its 2018 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender, which included 63 rare pink, red and violet diamonds from its Argyle mine. Sold to an undisclosed buyer, Lot Number 1, the Argyle Muse, a 2.28-carat fancy purplish red diamond was the most valuable diamond in the Tender’s history.
Square-radiant-shaped, 1.29-carat, fancy vivid purplish-pink Argyle MaestroRio Tinto's Arglye mine in Australia is heading for closure in 2020 and this will be one of the last tenders.
Headliner is the Argyle Alpha vivid pink diamond, weighing 3.14 carats.
