Jewel Thieves steal Portland Tiara

The Portland Tiara was stolen in a heist on the Welbeck Estate in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. It was created for Winifred, Duchess of Portland, to wear to the 1902 coronation of King Edward VII. The tiara is centred on the Portland Diamond, which is flanked by two diamond drops and other pendant diamonds, all set in gold and silver.

Almost certainly the Tiara will be broken apart and the stones sold.
