GIA examines Cat's-Eye Demantoid and Brown Andradite with Horsetail Inclusions

Two garnets were submitted to the Tokyo lab. One was a green cabochon weighing 2.51 ct; the other an orangy brown round brilliant of 2.47 ct.

The most important feature in both garnets was their horsetail inclusions. For garnets they increase value.
