Cindy Chao

Cindy Chao started her business with $100k of her own money in Taipei in 2004. In 16 years her jewels made appearances at international auctions, museums, and the collections of the world’s top jewelry investors.
In 2013 the flood gates opened for Chao. She became the first Asian jeweler to have a piece inducted as part of Smithsonian’s Natural History Museum’s permanent collection (The Black Label Masterpiece Butterfly Brooch). Her works started appearing on celebrities.
Chao has been consistent. She designs two collections per year. Her signature is the “Four Seasons” collection, which consists of a set of “Black Label Masterpieces” limited to 36 per year that can sell beyond $10 million.
