5.69-carat Fancy Vivid Blue Diamond leads Sotheby’s New York sale

Top lot of the sale is an emerald-cut, 5.69-carat fancy VVS1 vivid blue diamond with an estimate of $12m to $15m. 

Sotheby’s is offering what it claims is the largest round diamond to be offered at auction with a 110.92-carat gem with an L color, VS1 clarity. Estimate is $4.2m - $6.2m.
A 5.24-carat fancy intense orangy pink, VS2 clarity diamond carries an estimate of $1.8m to 2.2m.

A 15.01-carat ruby. Est $2.5m to $3.5m.

8.01-carat emerald. $650,000 - $850,000.
