Rockefeller Emerald - $5.5m

An 18.04-carat emerald once owned by the Rockefeller family was the highlight of Christies Magnificent Jewels sale in New York in 2017. Estimated at $4-6m, the emerald had been in the Rockefeller family since 1930.
