World's largest Diamond 'crossover' ring - £1.6 million

A London jeweller has unveiled the world's largest 'crossover' diamond ring - worth a staggering £1.6 million. The piece is made up of two 20 carat diamonds cut from the same stone. The ring coils around the finger with the ends of the band passing each other on top.

It is the work of family jeweller Hancocks in Mayfair, London, and is described as the ultimate statement ring. The ring is the only one of its kind and size which is on sale in the world today. Stephen Burton, managing director of Hancocks, added: 'The diamonds are extremely rare given they are a perfect match and are truly exceptional."
