Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels Sale

Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels Sale was held in Geneva on May 15, 2018, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

Highlights are two of the largest and purest white diamonds ever to come up for auction, both weighing over 50 carats. One diamond is a D-color, Flawless, Type IIa, round brilliant-cut weighing 51.71-carats. $9.2 million. The second diamond is also a D-color, Flawless, Type IIa diamond weighing 50.39 carats, but an oval brilliant-cut. $8.1 million.

The 6.16-carat, pear-shaped, ‘Farnese Blue’ is Fancy Dark Grey-Blue, SI1 Clarity. $6.7m.
Fancy Light Blue and Fancy Light Pink Ear Clips. 6.41 carats, suspending a fancy light pink diamond weighing 8.03 carats, the other  7.16 carats, suspending a fancy light blue diamond weighing 6.25 carats.  $4.4m
Cushion-shaped 'Royal Blue' Kashmir sapphire weighing 14.01 carats. $1.8m.
Modified brilliant-cut fancy vivid purplish pink diamond weighing 2.63 carats. $2.4 million.

Pear-shaped fancy purple-pink, SI1 clarity,  weighing 5.04 carats. $1.4 million.
