Two years after it launched the P1, its first supercar since the F1, McLaren introduced the 570S Coupe at the 2015 New York Auto Show.
A twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-8 is bolted between the rear wheels of the 675, with McLaren massaging it for an extra 25 horsepower and 16 lb-ft of torque. The car’s name is drawn from its 675 metric power with 516 lb-ft of torque. The V-8 propels the 675LT to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds.
Featuring enhanced aerodynamics, less weight, and even more power, the 675LT is essentially a barely road-legal race car.
Production of the coupe-only 675LT will be limited to 500 units globally with the entry point of $267,900. Deliveries started in late 2015.
